kpeArts :: Art + Travel

Over a decade ago, Kristin expanded kpeArts and began leading art focused trips centered on providing unique, exclusive art and culinary experiences. She has curated small group trips to cities including Berlin, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Copenhagen, L.A., Miami, Munich, New York, Paris and San Francisco. She has also organized several board retreats, with an emphasis on art, for the Block Museum of Art Board of Advisors.  Her vast network in the art world allows Kristin to gain rare access to artist studios, private collections and behind the scenes tours of museums, art fairs and auction houses. She has also coordinated countless gallery, museum and studio visits in the New York area for individuals and groups, including monthly art excursions in NYC for the Greenwich Arts Council in Greenwich, CT. Kristin is also a founding Ambassador for Indagare, the luxury boutique travel company.

Kristin’s love for art and travel was instilled by her parents at an early age. As a family they traveled often both domestically and abroad and local museums were always on the agenda. As an exchange student in Germany and France, her passion for travel was solidified. She later lived in both Paris and London before settling in New York City. Since then Kristin has traveled extensively within the United States, Europe, and Caribbean and also to Africa, Argentina, Australia, Mexico and New Zealand but still has a long bucket list of places to be explored. In 2016, Kristin walked the entire 719km of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela from the south of France across northern Spain to Santiago. And she hiked the Tour de Mont Blanc through France, Italy and Switzerland in 2017. Kristin finally got a taste of Africa while in Tanzania in 2019 and is aching to return, as well as to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro. While abroad Kristin likes to get deep into the culture, art, cuisine and appreciates connecting with the locals to understand their lifestyles and traditions.  

In addition to leading ventures, Kristin also plans itineraries and organizes travel - art focused or adventure - for individuals, families and small groups to travel on their own.  She is an avid reader of travel publications and newsletters and strives to be knowledgeable about the latest and greatest hotels, restaurants and guides around the world.  Friends and families reach out to her regularly for her personal recommendations and favorite venues.
